The Chase fans were left scratching their heads on tonight’s episode (April 7) after player Bill announced his bizarre profession.
As Bill joined fellow team members Rebecca, Lee and Lana in hopes of bagging a huge cash prize, each took it in turn to introduce themselves and tell viewers at home what they do.
But it was Bill’s intro that had viewers confused when he declared that he was a “retired people person.”

Fans immediately took to Twitter to try and unpack the statement and figure out what that meant.
“What the actual f**k is a retired people person,” said one viewer.
Another echoed: “WTF is a retired people person?”
“Retired people person. Okkkkaaaaayyyyy,” said a third, while a fourth penned: “Retired People Person' – I know how you feel, Bill.”
He later had the opportunity to explain his profession to host Bradley Walsh who asked him to explain what it meant, but after telling viewers he worked for a key cutting firm, they were more confused than ever.
“That has made "retired people person" less clear. Did he cut keys? Did he just greet customers? What?!,” one fan asked.
“Have I missed something what’s with the retired people person #TheChase, said a second while other just simply guessed what his profession was, with one suggesting “ex-con” and “works in a Timpson’s branch?”
Bill was unable to get past Jenny ‘The Vixen’ Ryan and was sent home shortly after Lana and Rebecca lost out in their head-to-heads.
That left Lee taking on Jenny in the final chase by himself.
He managed to answer 11 questions correctly but was caught with 28 seconds remaining and sent home without the £5k prize pot he scored earlier in the game.
