This Morning fans baffled at Sugababes reunion as member ‘missing’ from line-up

Yesterday morning (23 June) fans were excited to see the Sugababes reunite on This Morning with Holly Willoughby and Philip Schofield – but soon pointed out a key issue, with one member 'missing' from the line-up.

The successful band appeared on the ITV daytime show shortly after it was announced that they will be heading out on their first UK headline tour in over 20 years.

The trio joined Holly and Phil on the sofa and spoke about how they were just school girls when the band was formed.

When Phillip asked if it was 'bonkers' that they started so young, Mutya said: "It really was. You don't realise how young [we were]."

She added: "A lot of people always thought we were a lot older and I think that's why works now because we're not old. We've still got loads of time and years to go."

The band spoke about how the struggled being in the public eye due to the the 'scrutiny' and how thgey were just 'three awkward teenagers'.

"We didn't got To stage school and we're still not media trained as you'll probably tell.

"But you're really hard on yourself and it's so different this time around."

They were also asked about a legal battle over ownership of the pop group's name. Keisha admitted: "We were fighting for the name [Sugababes] and legally we wanted it back.

"It was really important for us because we came up with it when we were kids, but we stuck together and it’s who we are really and we’re just glad that we’ve got it back… and that’s why everything we do now means so much more."

Earlier in the show Philip introduced the girl band by saying: "With six number one singles, millions of album sales, quite a few members over the last two decades, the Sugababes have become one of the most successful girl bands of all time" then a montage of the band's biggest songs played out.

However fans were quick to notice that original member Siobhan only featured in one of the throwback clips.

The montage mostly showed Heidi Range, an original member of girl group Atomic Kitten, who replaced Siobhan in the Sugababes.

Fans took to twitter to complain.

One said said: "So Sugababes are on this morning and most of the VTS are showing Heidi in them #JusticeForHeidi!! Siobhan literally left before they went big #ThisMorning they should have all the members together! Imagine that!"

A second wrote wrote: "So the montage of their hits didn’t actually have Siobhan in them… meh."

A third tweeted: "These girls are so bloody talented, let's not forget Heidi though, she was in most of their bops."

A forth argued: "They should really have Heidi there cos she was with them for the most singles/albums."

A fifth shared: "Surely Siobhan can only really sing like two of their singles, pretty much the rest was Heidi!"
