This Mornings Josie Gibson stuns in affordable £30 River Island blouse on ITV show

Josie Gibson looked sensational as she joined Craig Doyle on today’s episode ofThis Morning (Monday 9 October) amidHolly Willoughby ’s absence from the popular ITV daytime show.

As she took to co-presenting duties, Josie, 37,who recently spoke to OK! about her time on the show, sported a chic, yet affordable, look after being styled by Rachael Hughes.

For the occasion, former Big Brother star Josie wore a plain black pencil skirt which she paired with the Navy Stripe Satin Long Sleeve Shirt, priced at £30, from River Island to give the outfit a refreshing pop of colour.

Coming in sizes six to 18, the shirt features a classic blue striped print pattern and has an open collar neckline which draws attention to the collarbone area.

The long sleeve fit of the shirt is fitting for the transitional weather and the button fastening detail on the sleeves mean that they can either be rolled up or down depending on your mood or the occasion.

However, if blue and white isn’t your style, or if it’s sold out in your size, the shirt comes in seven other colourways including black and white stripes as well as an orange floral print.

If you’re looking for something a little different but around a similar price point, the Black Stripe Satin Long Sleeve Shirt,£28.99, from New Look is another gorgeous option – and Josie has even worn the shirt while on This Morning.

With a timeless pattern and soft satin fabric, the shirt comes in sizes six to 22 and one reviewer wrote that it was a: “Beautiful silky blouse lovely material, excellent fit.”

Alternatively, the Striped Collared Button Through Shirt,£89, from Ghost via Marks & Spencer is another option and comes in sizes extra small to extra large.

After becoming a regular face on This Morning over recent years, Josie has opened up about what it’s like to be at the helm of the show andhas spoken about her relationship with her co-workers.

When asked if she has a preference of co-host, Josie told OK!: “Of course I do and I have absolutely no qualms in saying it. Obviously my favourite is Alison Hammond. I love Al – she’s got such a special energy.”

She added: “You ring Al and after the phone call, you feel a million dollars. You would never know if she was in a bad mood because she’s too busy trying to make you feel good.”
