ONLY Fools and Horses star Sir David Jason is one of Britain's most respected actors.
Away from the spotlight, the Del Boy actor is a dad to two daughters, one of which he only found out about after 52 years.

Sophie Mae
Sir David Jason is a dad to two daughters – one of which is Sophie Mae.
The actor became a father at the age of 61 when his then-girlfriend Gill Hinchcliffe gave birth to a baby girl.
Sophie Mae was born in Buckinghamshire in 2001.
The proud parents then got married in 2005 – the same year Sir David was knighted for services to comedy.

David Jason, 83, gives major health update as he cancels Only Fools event
The couple met when Sir David was working on ITV's A Touch Of Frost, where Gill was working as a production assistant.
The actor previously told the Guardian: "I first set eyes on Gill, a floor assistant at [a TV studio] in Leeds, when she was sent to meet me in the studio car park."
In 2022, the Only Fools and Horses star made a rare appearance alongside daughter Sophie on the red carpet of Cirque Du Soleil.
Abi Harris
In 2023, Sir David Jason revealed he didn't know he had another daughter for a whopping 52 years.

The TV legend also learned that he had a 10-year-old grandson.
Abi Harris was born in 1970 after her mum Jennifer Hill had a brief relationship with the star.
The pair met when they starred in Dylan Thomas’s Under Milk Wood at London’s May Fair theatre and a year later he appeared in a film version of the classic.
Jennifer was married to fellow actor Geoffrey Davion — who died in 1996 — and Abi had always believed he was her father.
Incredibly – several decades later in 2008 – Sir David and his actress daughter Abi appeared on stage together in a production of that same play, without knowing who they were to one another.
Abi revealed how a friend in the audience pointed out the pair had similar profiles and the same shaped nose.
Shocked to see the similarity, Abi eventually plucked up the courage many years later to ask Sir David for a paternity test – and it was then that the truth was revealed.
Speaking about finding out Sir David was her father, she told The Mirror: "In discovering my father’s identity, I am starting to piece together my own.
"Of course, I am tickled pink and incredibly proud but, frequently, completely overwhelmed with sorrow for the years we have lost.
"After a measured start, now I hope we can consciously make time to see each other more often, so that I can master the art of being the best big sister and build a meaningful father-daughter relationship in its truest sense."
Sir David's daughter and her son Charlie have since spent time with the the actor at his home in Ellesborough, Bucks.
What has David Jason said about children?
Sir David Jason is notoriously private when it comes to his personal life.
However, when the news emerged that Abi was his daughter the actor opened up on the shock discovery.
He said: ''To say it was a surprise to find out I had a daughter from years ago is an understatement.
''However, on settling with the news, I am delighted that I am now able to get to know Abi and so we meet up when we can.
