THE late Oscar-winning actress and former Labour MP Glenda Jackson was once married to Roy Hodges.
Jackson passed away aged 87 on June 15, 2023, with the iconic star's death being confirmed by her agent.
Who was Roy Hodges?
Roy Hodges was Jackson's only ex-husband.
He was a stage manager and fellow actor when he met his future wife when they were in their early 20s.
The pair first crossed paths while taking part in the same theatre company and embarked upon a relationship.
Hodges went on to become an art dealer.

In 2017, Hodge's son confirmed on Twitter that his father had passed away.
Dan Hodges did not share any details but revealed his dad had died on June 14, 2017, almost six years to the day before Jackson also passed away.
He said: "For people asking about me being quiet, I'm afraid my dad died yesterday. Hope to be back soon."

Their wedding took place at the St. Marylebone Register Office in London.
The former couple divorced in 1976.
Hodges sued Jackson for divorce on the grounds of her affair with lighting director Andy Phillips.
Phillips had worked on production of Hedda Gabler that Jackson was starring in.
In a 1997 interview Jackson was asked if she would describe her split from Hodges as "amicable."
She told The Independent:"I wouldn't go so far as to say that."
She added, at the time, that she still saw her ex-husband "occasionally."
After her divorce from Hodges, Jackson continued to be in an on-off relationship with Phillips.
The pair reportedly called things off for good in 1981.
Did they have any children?
Hodges and Jackson had one son together, called Daniel, now known as Dan.
He was born in 1969.
Dan, full name Daniel Pearce Jackson Hodges, is a UK newspaper columnist.
In 2020, Jackson revealed to The Observer that she was living with her son, his wife, and her then-13-year-old grandson.
Jackson was six months pregnant with Daniel when she finished filming on Women in Love.
The star went on to win the Academy Award for Best Actress for her role in the 1970 film.
Jackson won many other awards throughout her extensive career, including Baftas, Primetime Emmy's and Tony Awards.
In 2018, she won the Tony award for Best Actress after having previously been nominated for the same award four times.

Jackson won for her role in the Edward Albee drama Three Tall Women.
She had formerly received nominations for her roles in Macbeth in 1988, Strange Interlude in 1985, Rose in 1981, and Marat/Sade in 1965.
