A body has been been in woodland in the search for a father who vanished without a trace three years ago.

Jamie Moreno disappeared after leaving his home in the Roath area of Cardiff on March 23, 2020, with no sightings of him since.

The dad-of-three, who was 48 at the time he went missing, was last seen on CCTV in the Llanederyn area of the city on the afternoon he disappeared.

South Wales Police says members of the public looking for clues as to where he might be found a body in woodland off Circle Way East, in the same part of Cardiff, on Sunday morning.

The force said that while formal identification is yet to take place, Mr Moreno’s family have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
