A TEENAGE girl was stabbed to death outside a McDonald's restaurant allegedly during a fight over sauce.
Cops have arrested another teen after Naima Liggon, 16, was killed in the brutal stabbing in Washington D.C. on Sunday around 2am.
A fight had reportedly broken out between her and another teen after the pair argued over sweet and sour sauce, according to The Washington Post.
Naima was then rushed to a local hospital after the attack but tragically didn't survive her injuries.
She is said to have been stabbed with a seven-and-a-half-inch pocketknife in both her chest and abdomen.
At a court hearing on Monday, Detective Brendan Jasper testified that Naima's stabbing had started over an argument concerning the sauce.

Jasper added that Naima, from Waldorf, Baltimore, and another girl had begun hitting a 16-year-old who then "lunged" at Naima and her friend as they tried to enter a vehicle.
At the court hearing, the anonymous 16-year-old girl, also from Waldorf, claimed the stabbing was an act of self-defence.
She was initially arrested and charged with second-degree murder while armed on Sunday afternoon.
The Metropolitan Police reported that the girl had the knife on her when they went to handcuff her.

On Monday, DC Superior Court Judge Sherri Beatty-Arthur ordered the suspect be held until Friday, saying: "At the end of the day, someone is dead over a dispute over sauce."
In a statement shared by Naima's family to Wusa9, they said: "Naima was a beautiful, smart, funny, and unique young lady who loved life. She was loved and admired by so many people.
"Naima loved music and the arts, basketball, and she was shaping up to be a master barber."
They also revealed the teen had just been hired to work at Krispy Kreme as a doughnut specialist and was preparing to get her driver's license.
"The impact of this senseless loss has affected our family, our friends, and our community.
"Naima will never see her prom or her graduation. We will not get to see her graduate from college or get married or have kids," they added.
Naima died the day before she was set to go back to school following the summer break.
According to Wusa9, the headteacher of Naima's school – Thomas Stone High School – paid tribute to the late student.
Principal Shanif Pearl said: "This is a heartbreaking and tragic time for our school community.
"This is not the news a principal ever wants to share, let alone the day before we start a new school year."
The 16-year-old murder suspect will also miss classes as she was ordered held without bail until her next court date, the Washington Post reported.
US officials have created a curfew for minors aged 16 and youngsters in several parts of DC.
This tragic incident comes after a man was knifed to death outside a McDonald's in Bath city centre in May.
Ben Moncrieff was declared dead at the scene and a 15-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of murder.

And in March, a 15-year-old boy was stabbed in a horror attack outside a McDonald's in Salford, Manchester.
The teen was rushed to hospital after suffering knife wounds and was left in a critical condition.
