Frantic search for missing schoolgirl, 13, who vanished four days ago – as fears grow for her safety

Police are frantically searching for a missing school girl who vanished four days ago as fears grow for her safety.

Ellie Clark, 13, was last seen on Tulloch Terrace in Perth around 8.15am on Thursday morning. She has ties to the East Kilbride area and police believe she may have travelled there.

Detectives are ‘growing increasingly concerned’ for Ellie and are carrying out searches and reviewing CCTV in a bid to locate her.

Police Scotland have launched an appeal for information about her whereabouts and encourage anyone who may have seen to the teen to come forward.

Ellie, who is described as being 5ft 3in tall with long brown hair, was last seen wearing a black jacket, black leggings and black Converse trainers.

Inspector Kris McCall from Perth Police Station said yesterday: ‘As time passes we are growing increasingly concerned for Ellie. 

‘Ellie has links to the East Kilbride area and I would urge people there, and in Perth, to get in touch with any information that could assist in tracing her.

‘Likewise I would appeal directly to Ellie, if you see this message please contact the police on 101 or approach any police officer so we can ensure you are safe.’
