HEATHROW Airport’s has been closed following a reported security alert at Terminal Four.
Transport for London said the main station at the terminal is closed while the deal with the incident.
TfL said: "This station is closed while we respond to a security alert. Tickets are being accepted on London Buses via any reasonable route."
A post on X, formerly Twitter, said: "Reports that Heathrow T4 is closed and has been evacuated. Armed police are on the scene. Please check before you travel."
The Met Police has confirmed to The Sun Online that it was caused by a "suspicious package" and was dealt with quickly.
It's understood the whole incident lasted around 20 minutes and has now been resolved.
Heathrow Airport has confirmed the terminal has now reopened and is operating normally.
