HORROR video shows the moment two construction are thrown to their death from a platform during a dust storm.

The pair were working from the suspended platform hanging from the roof of a high-rise building in Iran when the tragedy unfolded.


Phone footage of the drama shows how the apparently unsecured c swinging wildly around in a sandstorm in Urmia, West Azerbaijan province.

As both men cling to the flimsy structure, pieces of it begin to fall off as it slams repeatedly into the wall of the building.

Finally, one man slips out of the cradle as it falls apart, plummeting to the ground.

Seconds later, the other man falls through the railings and manages to hold on by his fingertips.

But he loses his grip, falls and hits the ground with a sickening bounce.

Local officials said they found one of the workers already dead on the ground.

They managed to resuscitate his colleague and rush him to hospital but he later died of his injuries.

Baqer Bahrami, a spokesperson for the West Azerbaijan Emergency Medical Management Centre, confirmed that happened.

“Two construction workers who were working at a great height have lost their lives after falling during a severe storm,” he told local media.

“After the province’s emergency services arrived on the scene, we came across the lifeless body of one of the workers and the second person was resuscitated after the efforts of paramedics.

"He was transferred to the medical centre, but died in hospital.”

Earlier this two workers were crushed to death when a 98ft crane was blown over by strong winds.
