Shocking moment foul-mouthed Amazon driver tells nine-year old to ‘just open the f***ing door’

  • Father told matter would be investigated but that he wouldn’t be told outcome

Shocking footage captured the moment an Amazon driver told a nine-year-old to ‘open the f***king door’.

Doorbell camera footage showed the delivery man wearing a high-vis jacket leaving a black van and then walking up to the door while talking on the phone.

When asked who it was by the young boy, the driver is heard shouting: ‘Amazon mate. Just open the f***ing door.’

Father Peter, who declined to give his surname, said his son Oscar answered the door on October 25.

He said: ‘It was in the early evening as it had just gone dark.He came back in and said the Amazon guy just swore at me.

Father Peter said that his son Oscar answered the door on October 25 after it had gone dark

‘We looked at our camera and there it was. The guy seems to be casually swearing rather than aggressively swearing but it’s not something that a young child should be exposed to.’

Peter said that he had reported the foul-mouthed driver to Amazon and was told that someone would get back to him in ’24 to 48 hours’.

But he received no response and, after speaking to them again, was told that the incident would be investigated but he wouldn’t hear anything else because it will be an ‘internal matter’.

Peter, from Blackpool, said that Amazon’s unhelpful response ‘frustrated him more than anything’.

He said: ‘They’ve kind of said “We’re very sorry that this has happened but you won’t hear anything further”.

‘That’s really appalling. I’m still not convinced that anybody at Amazon has watched this video and seen what happened.

‘They haven’t dealt with it from a customer service perspective.’

MailOnline has contacted Amazon for comment.
