Piper Rockelle and mom spotted out in Los Angeles amid lawsuit drama

EXCLUSIVE: Teen star Piper Rockelle and her mother Tiffany are spotted after being sued for $22M by 11 teens featured on her channel: Mom ‘called herself Madam of YouTube’ and ‘physically and emotionally abused kids’

  • DailyMail.com obtained pictures of YouTube star Piper Rockelle, 15, and her mom Tiffany Smith, 41, in Los Angeles Monday ahead of a hearing this week
  • Smith is being sued for $22 million by 11 former members of ‘Piper’s Squad’
  • The group of teens accuses Smith of emotional and physical abuse

YouTube star Piper Rockelle was spotted out in Los Angeles Monday with her mother Tiffany Smith – just days before Smith was slated to have a hearing in a trial involving former members of ‘Piper’s Squad.’

Exclusive pictures show the alleged ‘Madam of YouTube’ and her 15-year-old daughter – who boasts over 10million subscribers – running errands just hours after the details of a January 2022 criminal complaint were reported.

According to 11 teens who appeared on Piper’s channel and are suing the stage mom, Smith encouraged the minors to be ‘sexy’ and subjected them to ‘harassment, molestation, and abuse,’ according to the complaint filed in January 2022.

Sawyer Sharbino, Donlad Dougher, Corrine Joy, Connor Cain, Symonne Harrison, Ayden Mekus, Hayden Haas, Walker Bryant, Sophia Fergi, Claire Rocksmith, and Reese Rocksmith are asking for $2 million each from Smith and her boyfriend Hunter Hill in a trial that is set to begin in November.

Smith, 41, allegedly touched, kissed, and made inappropriate and sexually graphic comments to several of the teens while they were filming content for Rockelle’s YouTube page.

The mother who, according to the complaint, bragged about ‘making kiddie porn,’ would intentionally inflict distress and urge the minors to try oral sex and wear revealing clothes to accentuate ‘bulges’ in videos posted online.

The mother at one point also appeared to check the garbage outside of their home.

According to the lawsuit, Smith called herself the ‘Madame of YouTube’ around the young teens while they shot for Piper’s YouTube channel.

The public outing comes just days before Smith had a scheduled hearing in the California Superior Court of Los Angeles County. According to the plaintiffs’ lawyers, the hearings have been canceled.

According to the plaintiffs, Smith would purposefully exploit the children on her daughter’s YouTube page and make increasingly disturbing comments to them.

The group called the YouTube stage mom a ‘mean-spirited control freak’ and say she often made uncomfortable comments about them and their private body parts.

Haas was allegedly asked by Smith whether his ‘balls have dropped yet’ and ‘how long is it [referring to his penis]?’

They say she would make obscene and graphic remarks about genitalia, encouraged them to be ‘sexy,’ and ‘sexually aggressive.’

Sawyer Sharbino is one of the 11 minors named as a plaintiff in the lawsuit

One video posted to Rockelle’s YouTube page two years ago features eight teens in a ‘last to stop kissing’ game where $10,000 was offered to the winners. That video currently has 10 million views.

The self-proclaimed ‘Madam of YouTube’ according to the complaint also allegedly told Fergi that she ‘had no boobs’ and that she ‘was so flat.’

Smith is also accused of touching the children on their legs, thighs, and buttocks.

One of the eleven defendants also claims Smith mailed her own teenage daughter’s ‘soiled training bras and panties’ to an unknown man and said ‘old men like to smell this stuff.’

She allegedly instructed the young boys to take their shirts off and said ‘sex sells’ while asking one of the girls if they ‘knew what a dildo was for.’

According to the group, she would also assume an alter-ego as ‘Frank the Pug’ or ‘Lenny the Dead Cat’ and shout out explicit phrases to the children.

‘I’m going to f**k you up the a**,’ and ‘I’m going to touch you in your sleep’ were both allegedly said while Smith was using her alter-ego.

At one point, the mother – as her alter ego – said to Fergi, ‘I wonder since (this squad member) has freckles, whether he has a bunch of freckles on his d**k.’

She also at one point reportedly referred to a Squad member’s penis as ‘Dwayne the Rock Hard Johnson.’

Some of the plaintiffs in their complaint also allege they were not paid for their appearances on her page and while promoting Rockelle’s content.

Not only are the plaintiffs accusing the YouTube mom of misconduct, but they claim they faced a monetary loss because of ‘dirty tactics’ Smith used to sabotage their personal accounts.

Smith would allegedly post links to the plaintiff’s YouTube accounts on porn sites, which would then caused viewers from the adult-only sites to click in and watch.

This would then get flagged to YouTube causing its algorithm to believe the content of the teen’s videos were ‘sexual or inappropriate’ thus restricting their viewing.

The restricted viewing would therefore deplete their engagement, and meant they would not make as much money from the video.

Piper, who is currently in the middle of her worldwide ‘The Piper Tour’ was last on stage in Oklahoma City on April 8, but her next performance will be in Vancouver on June 3.

Ashley Anne-Rock Smith, whose daughters Claire and Reese are both plaintiffs and are cousins with Rockelle, said she wants her children to feel ‘peace’ again.

‘I just want peace back with my kids,’ said Rock Smith in an interview with NBC.

The mom also said she wants action to be taken on YouTube’s policies regarding children and their accounts.

‘I want all predators who hurt young kids to be brought to justice,’ Rock Smith said. ‘I also hope we move the needle on these platforms that are allowing this.’

Steevy Areeco, the mother of Corinne, told NBC: ‘As children, they don’t understand it, sometimes it goes over their heads.’

‘But now they’re older and they’re starting to understand the trauma that was caused, the things that were said to them, these fake crushes,’ Areeco added.

One video, posted when Rockelle was just 10 or 11 years old, featured her handcuffed to her ‘boyfriend’ for 24 hours. That video received 4.4 million views.

Some outlets indicate Rockelle has a net worth of $3 million

The group alleges they were asked to stage romances and ‘crushes’ on other members of the ‘squad’ despite all being underage

YouTube states that it does not take responsibility for the conduct of its creators.

‘We all love YouTube and it’s a great place, but when somebody is using it as a business and pulling other children in, those people should have to uphold a certain standard,’ Areeco said told NBC News.

Smith countersued in July for $30 million and alleged the plaintiffs’ mothers are making up the allegations to extort her.

She later dropped the suit and lawyers representing the plaintiffs called the lawsuit ‘baseless.’

In 2022, YouTube demonetized Rockelle’s channel after Insider reached out for a request on the ongoing lawsuit. The change in status makes the page ineligible for revenue from ads.

Rockelle still makes money through merchandise and her current U.S. tour.

Previous to the demonetization, it’s unknown how much the teen was making off her videos. Some YouTube creators, however, can make upwards of $25,000 per million views, according to recent report.
