Responding officers said Paul showed "objective signs and symptoms of alcohol intoxication" with a "strong odor" of alcohol on his breath.

The victim refused treatment at the scene.

However, he later reported pain in his arm, shoulder, head, and neck.

On August 23, 2022, Paul's attorney Amanda Bevins answered the charges on her client's behalf.

That Tuesday, he pleaded guilty to one count of driving under the influence.

He was sentenced to five days in prison and was ordered to complete a three-month impaired driver program.

The conditions of Paul's sentencing also stated that he has to pay a $150 fine, complete nine hours of a court work program, and put an ignition interlock device on his car for a year.

The court dropped Paul's second misdemeanor charge as part of the agreement.

When was Paul Pelosi arrested?

His arrest occurred the night of the accident, shortly after 10pm on May 28, 2022.

Reports say that was arrested that night on suspicion of drunk driving.

In the state of California, the legal limit is 0.08 percent.

The new report also shows that his blood alcohol level was .082%.

Records show that Paul posted $5,000 bail shortly after the May 28 arrest.
