There's nothing more frustrating than trying to grow out a short haircut or a fringe. You have to push through that annoying middle length where they feel impossible to style. It's also even more impossible to make it through the awkward length phase when someone like Olivia Bowen reminds us of just how incredible a shorter bob and a properly styled fringe can look.
The former Love Island star just debuted the transformation on her Instagram page where she captions the carousel of snaps: "New hair feels GOOD. Thank you to my girl @alicejoanhair".
It's clear from the snaps that not only has Olivia had an inch or two taken off the main bulk of her hair, but she's also added in a long curtain fringe. The addition of the shorter front sections really creates an illusion of thickness, and the final result of her trip to the salon is a bombshell blow-out.
Olivia's followers are equal parts amazed at her new look and annoyed that they now want to go short themselves.
"Like why! Now I'm gonna end up getting my hair cut," says one, while a second adds: "You literally make me wanna get the CHOP on my hair".
A third writes: "Stop, I am growing my hair long and my blonde out, immediately backtracking now."
"This is your style! It’s perfect," a fourth chimes in.
This new short style comes after the mum-of-one posted on Instagram back in March that she was officially re-entering her short hair era.
“Short hair is backkkkkk thank GOD!” she captioned the bob reveal clip, tagging in hairdresser Alice Taylor. Posting the video to her Instagram stories, the 29 year old showed off her platinum blonde hair that had been cut into a blunt new style that finished just below her chin.
We agree with fans – we definitely think Olivia has found her best ever look in this blunt bob and curtain fringe.
