Sky Sports viewers 'in tears' at awkward moment Klopp celebrates Salah penalty MISS against Arsenal | The Sun

JURGEN KLOPP unintentionally celebrated Mo Salah's penalty miss against Arsenal on Sunday.

The Reds roared back into the clash at Anfield after the Gunners had eased to a 2-0 lead inside the opening 30 minutes.

Salah pulled one back before the break and Liverpool's pressure continued into the second half.

And the hosts were then given a golden opportunity to level the game when they were awarded a penalty for Rob Holding's challenge on Diogo Jota.

But manager Klopp could not watch the spot kick as he turned his back and relied on the sound of the crowd.

Salah stepped up and sent his penalty wide as the Arsenal faithful went wild.

Unfortunately for Klopp, he thought the cheers from the away fans were actually from the home support.

And as he turned back to the action he pumped his fist in celebration as he believed the penalty had been scored.

When he then realised Salah had rolled it wide, a bemused Klopp was left looking on in an awkward manner.

The moment left people in stitches on social media as they mocked the Liverpool manager.
