Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) has always been unbelievably conniving in EastEnders, and it seems that coming back from the dead has done little to change that.
It was revealed in tonight’s (June 22) highly anticipated episode that Cindy and Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) have rekindled their romance, despite the tiny fact that she tried to have him killed back in the 90s.
However, could Cindy just be stringing him along?
The end of the episode saw Cindy taking a trip down memory lane, as she looked at old photos of her and Ian.
Once Peter Beale (Thomas Law) had left her to it, Cindy pulled out another photograph, this time of her other family, the Knights.

Cindy left George Knight (Colin Salmon) and her daughters behind 9 years ago, but admitted to Ian today that she still misses her girls.
With Ian concerned that George had been in contact, it was clear that he was paranoid about their relationship.
Cindy did her best to reassure him that it was him she loved, not George, as he was the one she had chosen to be with.
However, she gave a different impression as she looked at the crinkled picture, stroking George’s face longingly.
Does Cindy really have feelings for Ian, or is she just using him as part of a bigger plan to win back George?
If she is, she may have an issue on her hands.
Despite initially dismissing Ian’s idea to move back to Albert Square, Cindy eventually changed her mind, but not before Ian had seen a video from the Queen Vic’s father’s day karaoke event.
Having seen that George and the girls had taken up residence in Ian’s former local boozer, his jealousy got the better of him once again, as he admitted to Cindy that he’d changed his mind about returning.
If Cindy is conning Ian, is he already onto her?
