EastEnders fans have predicted that an old romance may blossom between Karen and Harvey.
Fans of the BBC soap discussed the theory on Reddit after Wednesday's episode (July 13).
On the platform, one viewer wrote: "Karen and Harvey romance?

"I suspect Karen and Harvey may begin a relationship, Harvey and Mitch will fall out and have to continue working together. Then all will be OK, Karen and Harvey will nearly get married only for Karen to finally decide at the alter than Mitch is her one true love. Doof doof."
Another added to the thread and replied: "Can’t see that happening tbf"
"Can see Mitch like you said helping Phil out but I suspect Avery’s sons will be the next story line for the Taylor’s, one of them will have a dodgy past or something," they added.
While a third penned: "It's a shame those two weren't around when Pat was in her prime, she'd have eaten them both for breakfast."
"I assumed Harvey would get back together with Jean at some point," wrote a fourth.
A fifth put: "Yeah, I'm assuming their reconnection will pick back up when Jean gets out of the hospital. They already foreshadowed it in their last scene together while before Jean had gone back.
"Also Mitch will start doing some dirty work with Phil Mitchell."
EastEnders Karen Taylor has become a firm fan favourite since she arrived on the soap.
The star is played by actress Lorraine Stanley has brought the Walford resident to life.
Karen's life on the soap has been tragic after her daughter Chantelle was murdered by her abusive husband Gray Atkins.
Actress Lorraine, 44, is from Portsmouth but left her hometown to begin training for her acting career at London's Arts Educational School.
