I picked up a £1 model at a car boot sale – I was stunned when Antiques Roadshow told me what it’s worth | The Sun

AN Antiques Roadshow guest was left stunned when they found out the true value of their model of a stag that they picked up at a car boot sale for £1.

A recent episode of the BBC show saw expert William Farmer tell two guests how much their ornament was really worth.

The pair, from Northern Ireland, travelled to the Ulster Museum for an expert opinion.

William asked the pair: "He looks really at ease, this wonderful model of a stag just lying there. But tell me, where did he come from in your life?"

The man replied: "I bought him about 20 years ago at a car boot sale for £1."

A shocked William couldn't believe his ears.
