Love Island: Heart rate challenge returns to the villa
Love Island host Maya Jama recently took a jibe at the latest Islanders and how loud their kissing was, claiming it was “a lot for the ear lobes”.
On last night’s Aftersun, an exclusive clip of Sammy Root and Mal Nicol kissing was shown, teasing one another about how loud their kiss was.
In the clip, as their kiss ended, Mal herself told Sammy he was a loud kisser, with Sammy clapping back and joking that she was the loud one.
Cutting back to the studio, Maya joked: “Oh my God, I don’t think I’m ever going to get used to that sound. It’s really a lot for the ear lobes, isn’t it?”
She went over to the panel and ask what their thoughts were on the couple, leaving musician Stefflon Don to ask: “Can Love Island turn down the sound of the kisses?

“It sounds nastier than it is because everyone kisses. What do I think of them? Meh.”
Viewers of the show have been left annoyed by the kissing throughout the series and have expressed their thoughts on Twitter.

Recently dumped islander Molly Marsh was also on the sofa and discussed her thoughts on Kady McDermott choosing Zachariah Noble.
She explained: “There was definitely a part of me that thought, ‘Come home with me.’ I thought, ‘Let’s go and we can carry this on.’
“But it’s his journey as well and he probably needs to keep himself a little bit open and see if there is something there.
“Me and Zach had said to each other we can’t be fully closed off yet and it will take time to get there. But it was heading to that, we were quite close to being that.”
