This Morning viewers SLAM show for recommending £335 advent calendars in cost of living crisis | The Sun

THIS Morning viewers were left very unimpressed today over a segment featuring advent calendars costing up to £335.

Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby insisted it was simply to show off the good deals as they hit the shelves but those watching at home were not convinced.

The Sarah Jossel feature saw her showing off a number of highly priced items, including Liberty Men's Advent Calendar for £245, Flannels Beauty Advent Calendar for £235 and the Jo Loves one for £335.

The cheapest one she showed was £50 and many felt the segment was distasteful in light of the current economic crisis.

Taking to Twitter to complain, one person wrote: “#ThisMorning £235 on an advent calendar…they’re trolling us people.”

A second said: “You need to think again if you think I’m gonna pay over £200 just for an advent calendar 🤯🤯 #ThisMorning.”

And someone else added:  “#ThisMorning How in the name of the baby Jesus would anyone spend that amount of money on make up when most families are going to be struggling to put so much as a plate of beans and toast on the table! 😢😢.”
