Fans of the long running BBC One soap have been waiting in anticipation to learn who she really is.

Who is Rose Knight on Eastenders?

Rose Knight is the mysterious ex-wife of new Queen Vic landlordGeorge Knight (portrayed by Colin Salmon).

However, EastEnders fans are convinced that she is Cindy Beale, who is set to make a dramatic return to the Square.

The Sun exclusively revealed that actress Michelle Collins is reprising her role as Cindy as bosses bring her back from the dead.

It's now being speculated the criminal has changed her identity, and will return as Rose Knight.

Teasing the big reveal, EastEnders have been sharing trailer clips on their social media account.

With the Queen Vic pub visible in the background, “Every Rose… Has a Thorn" flashes up on screen.

Viewers are convinced Cindy adopted the new name as Rose faked her own death.

Taking to social media to comment on the Ros Thorne clue, one fan said: “Great detective work."

A second wrote: “Omg this is so clever if this is true!!”
