Born on January 14, 1945, William Hart, who also went by the nickname Poogie, was one of the founding members of The Delfonics.

The band crafted the popular songs La-La (Means I Love You), Didn't I (Blow Your Mind This Time), Break Your Promise, and several others.

What was William's cause of death?

On July 15, 2022, William's death was announced after he experienced complications during surgery.

He was rushed to Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania after he had trouble breathing, his son told TMZ.
