I clocked a bargain in Co-op so cleared the shelves but everyone is saying the same thing | The Sun

A SAVVY shopper has revealed that she clocked a bargain buy in Co-op, so made sure to clear the shelves.

When shopping in her local Co-op, bargain hunter Rachel Louise spotted that the supermarket had reduced their Lurpak butter.

Originally £4 a pack, the supermarket had orange stickered the butter at just 80p each.

Rachel made sure to take them all and clear the shelves of the last remaining three packs and proudly took to Facebook to show off her purchases, leaving many stunned.

Posting in the Facebook group, Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group, which has 2.2million members, the thrilled shopper shared a picture of her latest finds.

She said: “Bargain.

Rachel shared her post just two days ago, but it has clearly shocked many, as it has quickly amassed a whopping 1,500 likes and 446 comments.

However, eagle-eyed shoppers were quick to flag that the three packs of butter that Rachel nabbed were due to surpass the best before date, on 15th May, the day that she shared her post.
