I’m a fashion pro – here’s exactly what you need to buy in Primark and the disgusting item you should avoid at all costs | The Sun

A FASHION pro has shared her top buys from Primark and the ones she would never put in her basket.

Kaye Marie, who owns her own boutique clothing store took to TikTok to show followers her top buys.

In the clip, she headed to her local Primark store to give her honest opinion on what was hot and what was not.

She said: "Naturally going to give my own unsolicited opinion, sorry in advance.

"Have the basket, let's crack on."

Kaye first stopped at the men's section as she had never looked there before and she soon left when she was what was on offer.

Fashion fans scramble to nab platform heels from Primark that are reduced to £1

She first spotted some white rubber sliders and a Tupac T-shirt that she was clearly disappointed with.

"If my boyfriend rocked up in those white sliders, he'd be getting thrown out," she added.

"I'm gonna say Tupac would turn in his grave, it's a no from me."

Next, Kaye made her way to the women's bags and was once again unimpressed.

The quilted cross-body bags and satin and diamante clutches did nothing for the fashion pro.

She said: "Definitely something you'd buy your 5-year-old, these were definitely giving dress up."

Kaye decided to pass on the Barbie sliders as well but she found two pairs of cute neutral coloured slippers she decided to nab for herself and her mum.

The fashion pro also found a stunning pair of cream cowboy boots she thought were an absolute steal.

"£24 and these are a steal, some very similar in Zara and they were over £80, run," she added.

Kaye then headed to the T-shirts and was horrified to see the many varieties of slogan tops available.

One T-shirt read 'Balance – everything is going to be alright,' but Kaye wasn't so sure.

"It absolutely isn't, Bob just strike me dead," she said.

Things got even worse for Kaye when she spotted a Disney Stitch tracksuit in the women's section.

But all was not lost as she soon cheered up after seeing more neutral colours of the viral seamless underwear sts.

The video posted to her account @kayemarie53 has since gone viral with over 67k views and over 7,000 likes.

People were quick to share their thoughts on the fashion pro's opinions.

One person wrote: "Love the commentary!! I have a similar reaction in Primark! Only go in for underwear and kids clothes. Very rarely see anything I like."

Another commented: "So glad you didn’t slate the stripy jumper as I got it yesterday."

"I absolutely LOVE Primark, however at the moment it's just all old tat," penned a third.

Meanwhile a fourth said: "What has Primark turned into."
